RWANDA4U peace initiative

RWANDA4U peace initiative

Is a youth club aiming at creating responsible citizenship among young Rwandan who are the present and future of my country ; by creating a space for developing common ideas and visions by arranging meetings, debates, workshops on non violent communication, peace building, human rights and intercultural exchange aiming to include young Rwandans between the age of 12 and 25 in the development process of Rwanda.
Rwanda4U peace initiative wants youth in general to recognize that they are important, because it is their responsibility to protect and sustain their own future. They cannot count on others doing it for them. It is also their job to inspire others to do the same.

The mission is to increase youth participation and contribution in promoting the culture of peace. We want to organize series of events around a network of ideas, ideas which we develop in a Rwandan context. For instance : How do we imagine our future schools ? How do we imagine us in years to come ? How are we contributing to the development of our country and how we should be doing this ?

We want to create a network spanning between young Rwandans lives and ideas, thus awakening the Rwandan community to our presence.
